Be sure you have Adobe Flash installed and up to date on your operating system
BigBlueButton requires (at a minimum) Flash version 20 (or later). If a user is on a Linux computer, recommend they run Chrome (not Chromium) browser.
Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge automatically keeps Flash up-to-date. Most users running the Flash plugin from Adobe receive notification for updates.
If you are able to access the scheduled session through your learning management system (LMS) but the BigBlueButton session never loads in the browser double check that you have Adobe Flash installed on your system.
- If Flash is not installed, your browser will usually prompt you to install flash.

If you do not have Flash installed proceed to step two and download the latest version of the Adobe Flash player.
NOTE: Depending on your system settings you may need to restart your computer for the installation to be completed.
If your computer is locked down and you cannot install Flash, we recommend installing Chrome Browser. Chrome automatically keeps the version of Flash up-to-date.
