First be sure you are meeting the minimum bandwidth requirements for best audio and connection stability: see "What are BigBlueButton's minimum requirements" for more details.
You will get the best audio by joining the session using either Chrome or FireFox

These browsers support web real-time communications (WebRTC) for sending/receiving high quality audio over low bandwidth.
If you are a presenter, you want to see the words '[ WebRTC ]' audio in the lower right-hand corner of your client.
If after joining the session, you don't see the words '[ WebRTC ]', then try the following
- Refresh the client
- Switch between FireFox and Chrome browser
- Use https://speedtest.net/ to test your current bandwidth
If you try the above and still don't see the words '[ WebRTC ]', try connecting via a different network.
If you are behind a corporate firewall that is blocking UDP connections, have your administrator contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll send them a list of IP addresses they can whitelist on their firewall.
